Using Trello for Project Management: PP124
So you’ve designed your project. Now it’s time to run it. What tool do I like to use to do this?
Trello. The answer is always Trello.
Let’s dig into it all, and how I set it up for small AND big projects.
What We Talked About
Introduction to Trello for Ministry: I can’t emphasize enough how Trello has transformed my approach to project management. It’s my go-to tool, and today's discussion will show you why.
Experimenting with Video: We've been trying out something new—a video companion to our podcast episodes on YouTube. If you’re curious to see visual examples of what we discuss today, head over to the YouTube video linked in the show notes!
Trello as a Visual Project Management Tool: If you're someone who loves the visual way of managing projects, Trello's digital Kanban technology might be for you. It's all about moving tasks along a visual board, and I find it incredibly satisfying and intuitive.
Managing Small Projects in Trello: For smaller tasks or projects, I demonstrate how you can keep everything tidy within a single Trello card. This approach is perfect for projects that are self-contained with a clear timeline.
Handling Big Projects with Trello: Big projects require a bit more structure, and I showed you how to create a dedicated board with different phases—Design, In-Progress, and Finished. It's great for projects involving multiple timelines and team collaborations.
Upcoming Tools and Courses: I hinted at releasing my sermon preparation worksheets soon. If you're interested, keep an eye on social media or better yet, join the Productive Pastor email list for updates.
